Signed the newest quilt

This is my favorite way to bind,
first the material is just rolled up from the back.
Then I pull the corner up and snip it off.
I was trying to think of a 1/4" seam allowance.

I pinned it down

Had to roll the quilt up because I sewing from the center out.
It just seems to lay better.

I start in the middle.

I really like the plain back.
Here's my corner

Three!!!!

I like the way the front and back contrast.

I'm going to have to work on these corners.

This is the first picture of the saturn material I like.

I'm not making these real heavy, I'm using a light blanket as the center.

This is the video I'm using to try to learn how to bind a quilt.
I've always thought Sewing with Nancy's stiletto was so cool, but I've never seen one. I was shopping at Harbor Freight with my hubby and saw this little set of tools. It looks like a cross between a dentists tools and some torture devices. :) Sort of works with my other career.
So far I've just used the straight one but it has a great grip and is sturdy. The entire set was only 2.99$
